I’ve known Jen for ten years, and I know she has real empathy. She has a passion for Dubbo and for the community. But more than that, she’s got a passion for the people – her heart is for the whole community not just one section. She’s got common sense, and that’s not that common! And she just has her heart in the right place. I’ve seen her do some great things – for me as well, personally, she’s helped me on my journey. I can’t applaud her more.

We’ve learned a lot from each other in many ways. It’s been a really good cultural connection and also a human connection. She brings the good out in everyone. The community can only benefit from her being there (in Council). We need her leadership.

Jen engages with a broad range of people and organisations and has been involved with many community-based organisations in Dubbo over many years, always working hard and prepared to put her hand up for executive positions.

She acts with honesty and diplomacy, she’s not afraid of hard work. In all aspects of the community, Jen has committed herself to the task at hand making her an ideal Council candidate. She is sensitive and respectful.

Coming from a rural background, Jen understands agriculture and its vagaries, appreciating the need for rural communities to be well supported. She has strong family values and treats everyone with kindness and respect.
